Waterford Irish Single Malt Whisky Gaia 1.1

Ireland’s first organic Whiskey was distilled in 2016 using organic Irish barley from seven different farms, and is certified by Ireland’s Organic Trust. Matured in super-premium oak barrels, 42% first-fill American oak, 17% virgin American oak, 23% premium French oak and 18% vin doux naturel, known as sweet fortified wine casks. The 50% ABV bottling has been made without the use of colouring, additives or chill filtration. This terroir driven Single Malt is golden peach in colour with smooth notes of spice, white pepper, dry heat, cocoa powder and more. ‘Gaia’ is the neopagan Goddess of yore, a personification of Mother Earth herself, and this limited edition Single Malt is part of the Waterford distillery’s ‘Arcadian’ Series.
