Description
‘Mulatschak’ is a slang term meaning ‘party’ or ‘celebration’ – and this wine from Meinklang truly embodies that spirit. It’s a lively, joyful pour that brings the party to your glass. Spontaneous fermentation, with very low sulphites, it’s is a nod to the natural and orange style of winemaking. Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Welschriesling make up the blend for an appetising ‘living’ wine that’s yeasty and fresh, with hints of rose and lychee. It’s dry, refreshing and naturally cloudy with a gentle fizz that tickles the tongue. ‘Weisser’ means ‘white’, see the red version of this wine here.
- Kate Hawkings, Olive Magazine, ‘A blend of Welschriesling, Pinot Gris & Traminer grapes from Austria, this comes with gorgeous floral notes along with a really appetising crunch and a trendy crown cap.’ March 2020 (2018 vintage)
