Domaine de Brau Chardonnay Finement Boisé IGP Pays d'Oc
We've long maintained that this wine would put some of its considerably pricier Burgundian cousins to shame and each vintage confirms that view. It's a deftly-crafted wine, with a good deal of elegance. We like it very much.
Gold Medal - International Organic Wine Awards 2015 (2014 vintage)
89 Points - The Wine Gang, 'We really enjoyed this lightly oaked, but delicate Chardonnay with its oatmeal and gentle pear fruit, the palate showing juicy apple and delicate, racing acidity complemented by the subtle oak spice and touch of vanilla.' June 2016 (2014 vintage)
Domaine de Brau
Organic since 1989, with appproximately 40 hectares of vineyards planted on a range of loam, chalk, marl and sandstone soils, Gabriel and Wenny are able to plant their vines in the soil that suits each of the grapes best. Blessed with the Languedoc’s predictable sunshine, they also benefit from the cooling sea breezes. A perfect combination for any vine to thrive in!
