From an organic and Fair Trade flagship estate, in the Western Cape of South Africa, and one that specialises in 'No Sulphur Added' wines. Their Pinotage has typical aromas of cocoa, coffee and dark cherry. Clean and juicy on the palate with ripe fruit and firm tannins. Sure to be popular, as it's very easy to enjoy and great value too.
Good depth of colour, flavourful, smooth and with relatively little after taste. I believe it benefited from being decanted and left for a day or so prior to drinking. All in all, not a bad Pinotage and certainly worth having again. (Posted on 13/12/2016)
