Description
‘Mulatschak’ is a slang term meaning ‘party’ or ‘celebration’ – and this wine from Meinklang truly embodies that spirit. It’s a lively, joyful pour that brings the party to your glass. Spontaneous fermentation, with very low sulphites, it’s is a nod to the natural and orange style of winemaking. Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Welschriesling make up the blend for a ‘living’ wine that’s appley, yeasty and fresh, with hints of rose and lychee. It’s dry, refreshing and naturally cloudy with a gentle fizz that tickles the tongue. ‘Weisser’ means ‘white’, see the red version of this wine here.
- Kate Hawkings, Olive Magazine, ‘A blend of Welschriesling, Pinot Gris & Traminer grapes from Austria, this comes with gorgeous floral notes along with a really appetising crunch and a trendy crown cap.’ March 2020 (2018 vintage)
