Product Code: EFD26
A more serious Syrah and Grenache (50/50) blend from the foothills of the Jurassic ‘Dentelles de Montmirail’ limestone mountains. Made from older vines at higher altitude, using free-run juice only, this luscious organic Rhône red offers an explosion of complex cassis, plum and spice flavours.
- 91 Points, Decanter Magazine, ‘Freshly squished blackberries and raspberries, really vibrantly fruity. Exceptionally smooth tannins and tremulous acidity […] it has impact and is highly drinkable with or without food, having a lovely sense of purity. An equal blend of Grenache and Syrah, made by the aptly named Laurent Plantevin, sixth-generation family vine-grower.’ December 2023 (2022 vintage)
- Recommended in The Times Magazine, ‘A humdinger of an organic mini-gigondas from the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain. Its seductive woodsmoke scent and rich, creamy, lingering cassis and blackberry liqueur palate is tailor-made for barbecue food.‘ Jane MacQuitty, July 2019 (2018 vintage)
