Chateau Grinou - 2017
A substantial Merlot from the Grinou family estate. Leather and forest fruits on the nose with firm tannins on the palate. Plenty of damson fruit concentration to help development. This will age nicely, developing more earthy flavours.
Hailing from the small village of Monestier in Bergerac, owners Catherine and Guy Cuisset have now been joined by their two sons Gabriel and Julien, whose new talents and enthusiasm helped switch the estate to be certified organic in 2009.
