Description
From top to toe, explore one of the oldest wine-producing countries with this six bottle reds case. From north to south, starting with an easy-drinker from Mont’Albano, one of our best-selling Italian wines overall. Named after one of Sting’s songs, ‘When We Dance’, next is a pleasing DOCG Chianti from Sting and Trudie’s Tuscan vineyard, along with a jammy and cheerful Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from Jasci. Continuing south we have another easy-drinking red new to us since last year, Oynos, along with a richer style biodynamic Primitivo from the country’s heel. Finally, we reach the island of Sicily with Santa Tresa’s Frappato, a smooth lighter-bodied red that can be enjoyed slightly chilled as well.
Reviews for these wines
- “This is utterly delicious, very good indeed, rounded, rich but smooth and a family favourite.”
- “A beautiful grape, my favourite by far!”
- “Quite a find, a recent discovery & now a favourite. Full bodied, rich & smooth. Delicious.“
- “Can’t beat this Italian red.”
- “Believe the hype, brilliant wine and good value.”
- “Much nicer than the fruit juice of supermarket wines.”
