Experience the flavours and impressive organic winemaking of Penedès, Catalonia/Spain with our Ablet i Noya Mixed Six. Try local varietals Xarel.lo, Macabeu and Parellada, the three main traditional grapes from the region. For the whites, made from 100% Xarel.lo and one of our favourites, the Curios Xarel.lo is bursting with animated citrus fruits. The Petit Albet Xarel.lo/Macabeu/Chardonnay is skilfully blended and precise on the palate, while the impressive new La voL.ada is made from highly aromatic resistant varieties Sauvignac, Muscaris and Marina Rion. Albet i Noya have become pioneers in research and development of new cross bred resistant varieties that require less treatments of copper and fungicides, and carry great flavours too. For the reds, their juicy Petit Albet Red is made from a trio of grapes, including of course Tempranillo and Garnacha, which shine in this region as well. The award-winning Lignum Negre is a gem of an oak-aged red that also delivers a sophisticated drinking experience. To top it off, their Petit Albet Brut is the perfect all-around dry sparkler that’s been aged for 15 months, and is better than most Cava. Although labelled under the appellation of Penedès rather than Cava, it’s produced exactly as it always has been and is made with the traditional trio of local Cava grape varieties.
