If you’re new to organic wine, here are some of our most-loved recommended organic wines. Whether you’re after an organic red, white, rosé, or sparkling wine, you’ll surely find something to suit your tastes! Four Recommended Organic Red Wines

For an easy-drinking red, we’d recommend our Organic Roots Rosso, made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Corvina, Merlot and Syrah/Shiraz. This brilliant, light-bodied red is full of crunchy red fruits – perfect for any pasta dish.

Consistently impressive, Domaine Bousquet’s Malbec is one of our favourites. It’s packed with effusive notes of blackberry, damson and cassis overlain with a subtle hint of spice. 90 Points – Tim Atkin MW.

Santa Tresa’s Insieme Nero d’Avola No Added Sulphur is soft and supple with rich depth and a lingering smooth black cherry fruit finish. The no added sulphur allows for a beautiful and pure expression of the Nero D’Avola.

Emiliana Organic’s Coyam is another award-winning treat. It’s a blend that changes from vintage to vintage, made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenère, Syrah, Malbec and Mourvèdre that unravels generously on the palate.

Four Recommended Organic White Wines

First on our list of whites is this fresh and uplifting Wild Thing Sauvignon Blanc from Spain’s La Mancha region. For every bottle sold, a donation is made to the Born Free Foundation.

For another top organic white try the Giol Pinot Grigio. This Italian Pinot Grigio has generous peachy aromas that are followed by flavours of apricot and more creamy peach on the palate.

If you’re looking for a seafood wine, then look no further than the Petit Roubie Picpoul de Pinet. Wafts of sea breeze mingle with delightful notes of citrus, herbs, and hints of white peach and exotic fruits.

Walnut Block’s Collectables Sauvignon Blanc has powerful aromatics and superb fruit intensity. A quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc – a style so many of us love!

Four Recommended Organic Rosé Wines

With its big, bold strawberry and plum fruit flavours, Emiliana Organic’s Adobe Rosé Reserva is a deliciously appealing organic rosé made from 85% Syrah and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Next is Meinklang’s Prosa Frizzante, a bright and breezy lightly-sparkling rosé originally created by the winemaker for their own wedding.

Provence is the home of rosé, and for a strictly Provence rose then look no further than the Jas d’Esclans Rosé Côtes de Provence Cru Classé. Made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, this elegant organic rosé has refined but persistent fruit.

For another organic French rosé, try the Mas de Longchamp’s Rosé, made from grapes that have absorbed the Mediterranean sunshine. This characterful rosé hints at wild strawberries mingled with a faint whisper of wild herb and spice.

Four Recommended Organic Sparkling Wines

For an affordable organic bubbly that delivers plenty for the price, try Giol’s Prosecco Frizzante. Gold Medal – International Organic Wine Awards 2018.

We’d also recommend Santa Tresa’s Il Grillo Vino Spumante Brut, a quality Sicilian fizz made from 100% Grillo grapes. This sparkling wine is fine and fresh, with great balance, spectacular fruit and a refreshing zingy burst of acidity.

English sparkling wine is all the rage these days, and Oxney’s Estate NV is a non-vintage blend from Oxney Estate in East Sussex. Made from Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this English fizz is fantastic value.

Four Recommended No Added Sulphur Organic Wines

No added sulphur wines are also popular among our customers. To start you really can’t go wrong with the Cuvée Secrète No Added Sulphur from Domaines Paul Mas, made from 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Stellar Organics Merlot No Added Sulphur is a super-soft and easy-drinking Merlot with no sulphur added. A delicious red with deep, bright colour and ripe fruit on the nose.
