Description
Situated in the Côte de Beaune district of the Côte d’Or, the white wines of Meursault are widely acknowledged to be some of the world’s finest. Superbly balanced, rich and concentrated with sumptuously weighty buttery, toasty fruit. We’ve long been a fan of the Jean Javillier wines and we consider this to be pretty special. Will work a treat with creamy pasta dishes or poultry. Unfiltered.
About the Estate
Located in the famous Côte de Beaune, the white wines of Meursault are made from the Chardonnay grape and quality examples are avidly hunted by wine lovers the world over. The reds are Pinot Noirs from superb vineyards in Burgundy. Javillier’s organic wines are rich, opulent and generous, with classic Burgundian finesse.

Reviews
I like all grapes and all regions, but you can't imitate, or better, white burgundy. So creamy and nutty, but not sweet like some New World Chardonnays.
