Description
A satisfying Spanish red with a bold structure and big fruit impact that’s well balanced. Ripe, layered, black fruits with complex aromas that evoke being in a good delicatessen with BBQ smoke wafting in. Lovely firm, yet round tannins with sweet spices and liquorice creeping in too. This is a delicious rich red that will not break the bank.
About the Estate
Certified organic since 1995, the Parra family’s pursuit came from the devotion of the three brothers Francisco, Javier and Luis, who founded their La Mancha property with the conviction to organically and biodynamically farm every vine under their care. The Parra family works two large vineyards in La Mancha, near the town of Las Mesas (The Tables) in central Spain, totalling 180 hectares. Delivering clean, honest wines grown in harmony with the land, Parra Jiminez wines are always good value and a natural wine lover’s hidden gem.
