Description
This is our first no sulphur added Viognier wine, having 15% of the blend fermented in new oak. It reveals aromas of white flowers, nuts and subtle vanilla and a rich and mellow palate with flavours of ripe pear and peach. Delicious on its own or with foods, especially poultry, goats cheese and fish.
About the Estate
Domaines Paul Mas is one of the great names of the Languedoc, combining deep regional heritage with Jean-Claude Mas’ modern, expressive winemaking style. Based near Pézenas, the family-owned estate works across a remarkable range of southern French terroirs, producing wines that are polished, generous and full of character. We work with Jean-Claude on a small but distinctive part of the wider portfolio, including biodynamically managed Mas des Tannes, organically farmed Arrogant Frog from Limoux and Cuvée Secrète – a no-added-sulphur blend that gives a particularly pure expression of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Across the range, Paul Mas wines offer ripe fruit, smooth textures and easy charm, making them especially appealing for those who enjoy a more generous, modern southern French style.
