Description
Impressing with its seductive fruitiness and plenty of Pinot flair, the Gerichtsberg Pinot Noir was Christoph Bauer’s best red from the 2020 vintage. This organic red has soft and supple tannins with tobacco notes from the oak ageing and a fine, elegant finish of dried plums.
About the Estate
Quality Austrian estate sited in Jetzelsdorf, near Haugsdorf on 20 hectares. Organic since 2015, Christoph Bauer works with his wife Heidi to produce excellent fruit-driven wines, whose character is helped on by the relatively high lime content of the local soils.
