British Polo No 3 Double Spiced Rum is double spiced organic rum, which involves first distilling keynote botanicals of orange, cinnamon, vanilla and ginger with 100% organic and fairtrade white rum before macerating the same spices in the distillate. The result is a wonderfully rich and vanilla mouthfeel laced with delicate citrus and subtle spice. The ultimate sipping rum, enjoy on the rocks, or topped with cola or ginger beer.
Rich Hine’s passion for gin and spirits was peaked in November 2015 while he was working for an Australian gin business in Perth, Australia, on a winter break from playing polo professionally in the UK. During his career, Rich has been fortunate to play polo internationally across the globe in Argentina, Germany, France, India, China and Australia.
Whilst in Perth, Rich identified a large gap in the market for a 100% organic gin that was easy to drink. He wanted the gin to be smooth enough to be drunk on the rocks, but to still retain the classic gin flavours that are crucial to allow the tonic and cocktail ingredients to cut through. Additionally, having come from a farming background, Rich was keen to make sure that all of his gins and spirits are organic (certified by the Soil Association) and produced as sustainably as possible.
