Description
Located in the Loire Valley, near the famous Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé regions, the Coteaux du Giennois is a hidden gem of an appellation that’s slowly made a name for itself. Like Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, the principal grape here is Sauvignon Blanc, producing crisp, mineral whites with aromas and flavours of fruits like peach and quince. A gentle and supple Sauvignon with the flinty character you’d expect for a Loire Valley Sauvingon make this a great value alternative to a Pouilly-Fumé or Sancerre.
