So, just sitting savouring a cheeky soft merlot whilst Sunday sofa chilling. What pops up – chance to be a wine taster! Now I love a glass or two of a well balanced vino. I thought I was a red wine drinker, telling friends that I only did the red stuff, but I was a novice back then, although I always thought that my in-laws favourite plonk was iffy – I’m confident still that they would drink pickled beetroot juice if it was cheap enough and had a fancy label, I’m deliriously happy to swirl a buttery Chardonnay that melts into my tongue or a tart Pinot Grigio To cut through my mozzarella addiction, whilst pretending I’m sitting in an Italian piazza shooing off the ringworm ridden feline cuties from under my table. Then again, who doesn’t love a rosè when the sun just starts to set and you don’t know if you want a day wine or night wine (my kids summary) – ooh a large glass of summer, jewel coloured, palette soothing Treasure.

If you choose me, your wines will be in safe hands. I’ll be thorough in my testing and promise to only review the next day – once the pickling effect has worn off to give a balanced review. X

Would love to try the selection aside never have before. The best thing in summer is being in the garden of an evening sipping a glass or 3 along with a platter of foods and chatting away with your friends with some good tunes on in the background. It is a special birthday this year for my landlady and it would just be a fun way to celebrate at home

    Dear Sirs,
I would love to do some wine tasting. I always enjoy the company of a few good friends and a glass of good wine. I usually prefer the xinomavro wine (sour-black or as they call it in Greece) in winter, rose in Spring and white in the summer. I have been tasting wines and rakjas all my life. If you recommend a type of cheese that you wish me to accompany your preferred type of wine, please let me know. I cannot find the application forms so if this comment is the way to get one, please send me one. I wish you every success in finding the right candidate!
