Waterford Distillery

Located in the south east of Ireland, Waterford Distillery is a pioneering whisky venture by the man behind the renaissance of Islay's Bruichladdich single malt whisky. Natural flavours and the utmost respect of the raw ingredients is at the heart of what they do, which they see as the old ways and truly regenerative agriculture. Working with pure spring water from renowned ancient wells, a team of passionate distillers that share their vision, and organic and biodynamic barley of the upmost quality, the destination is to create not just the most compelling Irish whisky, but the world’s most profound single malt. Using 100% Irish-grown barley, they have worked with 110 Irish growers, around 40 a year – some organic, some biodynamic (Demeter and Organic Trust certified), some heritage grains – one farm, one terroir, at a time.
