From the Loire Valley in France comes this light-bodied wine. The wine is a pure Cabernet Franc, with the classic light colours and flavours for which the Loire Valley is so famous. The red fruit flavours of raspberry are fleshy and sappy, and you can't help but love the violet-flower aromas. There's a touch of leafy freshness, and just enough subtle hints of graphite to pair wonderfully with the mild crunchiness and light tannins. Caves Plouzeau

The Château de la Bonnelière, the property of the Plouzeau familly 1846, is in the commune of la Roche Clermault, just to the south of Chinon. The vines are planted on the upper slopes of the left bank of the Vienne river in chalky clay soil with an ideal aspect.

Quality
I don't drink many red wines, and always look for lighter reds. This is almost the perfect red for me, really light but still with lots of flavours. No nasty hangover from this! (Posted on 24/03/2015)
