AOC Alsace Gewurztraminer André Stentz / Organic White Wines
André Stentz - 2008
Yes, there really is a wine that tastes a little like lychees. Yummy!
This is a truly outstanding off-dry white wine and one that will offer a real treat to those prepared to veer off the well-beaten Chardonnay and Sauvignon tracks. There's a distinct lychee, orange rind and floral character to the palate which is topped off with more than a hint of spice. Really great and a wine to try with lightly flavoured Asian foods and, for those that like it, very good with smoked haddock.
