Next is this no-added sulphur, super soft and easy-drinking Merlot from Stellar Organics. This organic Merlot has deep, bright colour and ripe fruit on the nose and tasty flavours of Victoria plum fruits.

This delicious Côtes du Rhône from our friends at Rochecolombe always remains a favourite too. This fuller-bodied red has an inviting palate with waves of dark fruit interwoven with notes of liquorice and spice.

Bohem’s No Added Sulphur Tempranillo never ceases to impress. Black fruit forward and juicy with soft tannins, this is one of our best value ‘no sulphur added’ wines.

Made from the rare Nero d’Avola grape, Santa Tresa’s Insieme Nero d’Avola No Added Sulphur is also much-loved by our customers. It’s soft and supple with rich depth, and a lingering smooth black cherry fruit finish.

Another favourite, Château Couronneau Bordeaux Supérieur is crammed full of blackberry and damson with a nuance of florality towards the finale.

Four of our Top Organic White Wines, a Rosé and Champagne from 2022

First on our list for our favourite organic white wines in 2022 is this Collectables Sauvignon Blanc from Walnut Block. This Quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc – a style so many of us love – has powerful aromatics and superb fruit intensity.

Next is our own Wild Thing Sauvignon Blanc, a fresh and lively white from Spain with rich fruit flavours and balancing acidity made in association with the Born Free Foundation.

If you’re looking for an outstanding white for seafood, Petit Roubie Picpoul de Pinet has wafts of sea breeze that mingle with delightful notes of citrus, apple skin and herbs.

For a sparkling option, Giol’s Prosecco Spumante is a much-loved delicate and dry bubbly with a biscuit and apple palate.

A popular rosé was Mas de Longchamp’s Rosé, a characterful southern French rosé hinting at wild strawberries mingled with a faint whisper of wild herb and spice.

For a much-loved organic Champagne, Champagne Fleury’s Blanc de Noirs continues to remain enduringly popular. Grand Gold Medal – Mundus Vini.

A Favourite Organic Beer and Cider from 2022

We can’t forget about organic and beer and cider!

Our own Vintage Roots Organic Lager, a classic and fresh Bavarian ‘organic lager’, had a lot of fans last year.

Dunkertons Premium Organic Cider, a cider from Herefordshire that’s made from organic apples grown without chemicals or pesticides, was also a popular choice.

A Favourite Organic Gin

If you’re looking for an aromatic, flavourful Gin that’s also organic, then look no further than Juniper Green’s Organic London Dry Gin.
