Henri Bungener is second generation owner of this secluded and idyllic estate, which has been organic since 1989. Tucked alongside Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas, the Vacqueyras vineyard is sited between the towns of Orange and Avignon. The four charming gîtes (for 2,3,4 and 8 people) are situated between the wine making cellar and the owner’s 18th century farmhouse. You’ll have use of the swimming pool and there’s all mod cons included on site.
Wines produced here are nothing short of excellent, and win medals, high praise and fans worldwide. Grapes grown are mainly Grenache and Syrah, with the vineyard site and winemaking techniques giving wonderfully weighted and elegant wines with soft tannins.
Enjoy these fabulous wines, half the cost of which will be deducted (up to 50% of the rental) from your gîte cost, on proof of purchase. In a way, it’s like having some free wine, and getting a great tip on a holiday adventure!
