Antiyal Alvaro Espinoza - 2014
This wine expresses the pure character of the Maipo valley. Chile’s signature grape Carménère, the deepest, darkest, purplest of all red grapes needs a long growing season to reach its fullest potential. Rich in berry fruits and spice (think blackberries and black pepper), with smooth, well-rounded tannins, making this a crowd pleasing and easy to drink wine with bags of character. Finished off nicely with well-integrated french oak.
