Description
Product Code: DEE02
From a Soil Association certified vineyard in beautiful East Sussex, six miles inland from Rye. A delicate and pure English rosé from the bright and sunny 2022 vintage, which has helped the Pinot Noir fruit to shine through. At 11.5%, this wine is poised, balanced and wonderfully refreshing with strawberry, rhubarb and subtle rose petal flavours.
- Recommended by Matthew Jukes in Vineyard Magazine, ‘This stunning, mellifluous wine is made from organically grown Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and it is hard to imagine a more indulgent and seamless treat. Pure, smooth and pleasingly fleshy, with just that little more juiciness and depth than expected, this is a glorious wild strawberry-kissed wine with a dramatic, clean, slate-fresh finish. It is clear that rosé-adoring hands made this wine, […] it is bold enough to cope with a wide range of main course dishes while coping perfectly with lighter, less formal moments.’ (2022 vintage)
- Trophy Winner, English & Welsh Wine of the Year Competition (2015 vintage)
