Vinibio - 2017
A welcome return to a classic example of an aromatic Vinho Verde produced from a seamless blend of 5 local white grapes: Azal (50%), Loureiro (20%), Trajadura (20%), Pedernã 10%), Alvarinho (5%). Fermented using natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks. With an alcohol content of only 11.5 % this is a wonderfully refreshing natural wine, with an exceptional sappy, herbal and mineral backbone, coupled with lively green apple and citrus acidity. Dry and vibrant on the finish ‘Mica’ is brimful of genuine character. The slightest spritz in mouth enlivens the palate, creating a fine aperitif, or better still, a fabulous seafood partner.
