This is a welcome return to a classic example of Vinho Verde and is made from 5 local white grapes: Azal (50%), Loureiro (20%), Trajadura (20%), Pedernã 10%), Alvarinho (5%). Fermented using natural yeasts in steel tanks. With an alcohol content of only 11.5 % this is a wonderfully refreshing natural wine, with an exceptional sappy, mineral backbone, coupled with lively green apple and citrus acidity. The slightest spritz in mouth, further enlivens the palate.
VINIBIO is a group of organic and biodynamic grape producers that decided to join their harvests to produce high quality wines. The vineyards are located in the Vinho Verde region in the North of Portugal, around the village of Sousa, where the granite based soils help add minerality, and lively acidity to the wines.
