A Rhône-style blend of Grenache (70%) and Syrah (30%) from organic vineyards at the foot of the 'Giant of Provence' - Mont Ventoux. It's deliciously full-flavoured, full-bodied yet smooth, and has rich aromas of black forest fruits and black pepper spice. The palate is equally intense, but the freshness allows the full expression of the fruit flavours to linger on the palate.
Situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux (legendary as one of the most gruelling road cycling climbs in the Tour de France) the ideal climate of cool winds and maximum sunshine ensure that the grapes ripen slowly whilst retaining freshness and elegance in abundance. Ventoux means windy in French and organic vineyards thrive in this environment keeping the vine and grape bunches dry and protecting them from any fungal diseases. Terroir at its best.
