Annual Festive Wine Tasting & Bottle Sale

Continuing on the success of the last couple of years, we’ve decided to host our Annual Festive Tasting at the Thames Lido in Reading again, a restored Grade II listed building dating back to 1902 that reopened in 2017. Located at Kings Meadow, just a 5 minutes’ walk from Reading railway station, the venue has an impressive restaurant and poolside bar (inside), featured in the ‘Michelin Guide’ (the pool is heated).

This is a great chance to taste the wines from our Festive Season Offers, and to pick up some deals on the usual label damaged and bin end wines. Some limited parking is available at the Lido, and a neighbouring public car park (chargeable). Alternatively, there is 3 hours free parking at the local Tesco supermarket (walk back along the riverside).

This annual tasting is FREE, but we do ask those who attend to purchase at least a case of wine (on the day of or afterwards) to help keep this festive tradition going.
