Small scale artisan liqueur making in the Cotswolds doesn't get any better than from Mr. Miles Gibson. Miles sources elder from hedgerows on his organic land. Elderberries have very high vitamin C content and are also high in antioxidants and make a rich, deeply fruity liqueur too. Makes for a great alternative to Port, and apparently very good with blue cheese. A great ingredient in cocktails as well.
Gibsons Organic Liqueurs
Based on a family run farm near Burford in the Cotswolds. All the fruit is grown organically (Soil Association certified), and fermented before addition of extra sugar and alcohol, this gives the liqueurs their intensely fruity characteristics.
