Domaine de Brau Rosé
A rosé wine with plenty of substance. The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault grapes ripen fully in the southern French sun and the result is a wine with robust, juicy flavours.
87 Points - Tom Cannavan's Wine-Pages.com, 'This wine will be bottled under screwcap from next vintage, but this was a perfectly clean. Bright pink, cool, with pomegranate and watermelon fruit and dry cherry it has fresh fruit and balance on the palate, and clean, dry acidity too. A succesful Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Merlot rosé from close to Carcassonne.' July 2016 (2014 vintage)
Domaine de Brau
Organic since 1989, with appproximately 40 hectares of vineyards planted on a range of loam, chalk, marl and sandstone soils, Gabriel and Wenny are able to plant their vines in the soil that suits each of the grapes best. Blessed with the Languedoc’s predictable sunshine, they also benefit from the cooling sea breezes. A perfect combination for any vine to thrive in!
