Coyam is a wine that’s synonymous with quality and is close to claiming iconic status. It’s a blend that changes from vintage to vintage, made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenère, Syrah, Malbec and Mourvèdre. There’s an unbelievable depth and breadth of flavour to this red wine which unravels generously on the palate. Tannins are well-placed and give the wine the structure it needs. Very enjoyable now this wine will continue to develop in bottle over the coming three years or more. Serve with a nice juicy steak. Certified Carbon Neutral.
- 91 Points – Wine Enthusiast Magazine, ‘Dark-fruit aromas of this Syrah-led blend are pure and come with a slight floral note. A saturated palate is packed to the gills with ripe intensity, with tastes of blackberry, toast and molasses. Oak-based toastiness controls the finish. Drink through 2023.’ WineMag.com, October 2018 (2015 vintage).
- 96 Points – Tim Atkin MW (2016 vintage)
- 94 Points – James Suckling (2016 vintage)
- 96 Points – James Suckling (2017 vintage)
- 93 Points – Tim Atkin Best of Chile (2017 vintage)

James Bond
Wonderful flavour. Would make a great ‘James Bond’ martini. Needs chilling – over ice?

Favourite
One of my favourites. Leaps out of the glass, long finish. Great wine to drink in front of the fire.

This won’t disappoint!
I am as far from a sommelier as you are likely to find and so this is a review that may not hold much weight, but this wine, in my humble opinion, is fruity, smooth and full bodied. I love ‘big’ red wines, and this won’t disappoint!

Brilliant
Best wine I’ve ever had. It’s not cheap, but there’s plenty of wine more expensive than this, and I can’t imagine how it could be better
BetterCallSaul –
A superb and spectacular wine.
