When We Dance Chianti
Named after another of Sting’s songs, the latest addition to the Tenuta il Palagio cellar is When We Dance, a DOCG Chianti, made predominantly with Sangiovese, with small quantities of Canaiolo and Colorino. It is a great value Chianti that has true class in abundence.
90 Points - James Suckling, 'A fun and delicious red. Aromas of flowers and light spice with some dried fruits and green olives. Light body, firm tannins and a fresh finish. Easy and juicy. Nicely done for the vintage. Serve this slightly chilled. Made from organically grown grapes at the estate of singer-songwriter Sting.' JamesSuckling.com November 2016 (2014 vintage)

Tenuta Il Palagio
Since finding the estate 15 years ago, Sting and Trudie have taken great pains to restore the villa, outbuildings, olive groves, and vineyards to their former glory, repecting history and architecture, and working along organic and biodynamic principles. With an expert and experienced wine team in place, the resulting wines are really top notch. Watch this space for honey and olive oil too!
