Organic Italian Wines

No country on earth has more indigenous grape varieties than Italy, which is what makes it so fascinating for us wine drinkers. Italian wine is considered some of the best in the world, and is certainly the most diverse. There's never been a better time to buy Italian wine. As the largest wine-producer in the world, Italy produces roughly 50 million hectolitres per year!

Montepulciano is a popular organic Italian red wine, with bold tannins and a deep red colour similar to Syrahs. Barbera has heavy herbal notes, with plenty of acidity and the wonderfully tart flavour of black cherries. You’ll love the heavy floral and cherry fruit notes. Franciacorta is famous for its bright, dry sparkling wines, some of the most sought after in the country. For those who want a good Nebbiolo, the Barolo wines are considered some of the best in Italy. The Piedmont region also produces excellent quality Barbera.

For dry, full bodied, or indeed sweet wine, the Verdicchio grape can provide all, and will captivate you. Our vintages hail from the Castelli di Jesi region near Ancona on the east coast. Veneto is of course one of the most famous regions with Soave and Valpolicella, and, from closer to Venice, the famous and incredibly popular sparkling Prosecco wines.
