100% Sauvignon grown on chalky soils with elements of flint and clay. Fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks to ensure full fruit vigour is retained. Fresh, light and pristine with notes of white peach, citrus fruit and just a touch of mango. Dry, crisp, verdant and refreshing on the palate. The fine minerality on the finale adds to the sense of vibrancy and easy appeal.
In 1995 during the first year of his PhD in Oenology and Ampelology, Frédéric Brochet created Domaine Ampelidae (from the Greek Ampelos meaning vine), out of those few vines inherited from his father. The move towards converting to organic began in 2000. Ecocert certification in Organic Agriculture was given in 2004, and all vines became organic in 2007.
