AOP La Clape Chateau Moujan

This Biodynamic red is made with 70% Syrah, 25% Cinsault, 5% Carignan, grown on the La Clape hillsides in southwest France, where all the grapes are harvested by hand. Matured in either oak or stainless steel, the final blend offers a thrilling taste experience of deep cherry and blackcurrant, green pepper and herb. A characterful wine that really shines, and is a total pleasure to sip and enjoy. Excellent.

One of the larger organic wine companies in Southern France, run by Claude Vialade. Her father started with organic growing at their Montmija estate in Corbieres some 35 year ago, and Vintage Roots have indeed listed the Corbieres some years back. Since then, the company has expanded to neighbouring regions, encouraging local growers to go organic and supply grapes that meet their high standards.
