This is an inexpensive, unoaked version of the Merlot-heavy red from Chateau Beausjour, with the pure taste of fruit for which St. Emilion is renowned. The organic wine has been highly sought after since the 1960s, and offer quality and flavour for an excellent price point. Lacking the heavier oaky notes, but ideal for those with a lower budget.
Committed to traditional viticulture practice, this estate is situated in the commune of St Emilion, where the Dupuy family have been making wine for several generations. Planted predominantly with merlot, there is also some cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon.
