Chateau Vari AOC Monbazillac Half Bottle

Monbazillac is a famous region located near Bergerac that’s particularly well known for its sweet dessert wines. More affordable than Sauternes, and made in the same way, with the mainly Semillon grapes being affected by botrytis (noble rot) brought on by the humidity and morning fogs in autumn. After hand harvesting and gentle pressing, the must is fermented in a mixture of vats and oak barrels. This French sweet wine is intense and captivating with rich apricot, honey and peach aromas. It’s sumptuous and smooth in the mouth without being too heavy or cloying. Serve chilled and enjoy every drop, either on its own, with desserts or blue cheeses. The reserve of this wine is also available in full bottle size.
