The Millton Vineyards Clos de Sainte Anne Pinot Noir / Organic Red Wines
Supremely sophisticated NZ Pinot Noir; smoky, earthy with ripe red fruits
Clos de Ste Anne is a single vineyard situated on steep northeast facing slopes in the foothills of Poverty Bay on New Zealand's North Island. Hand harvested Pinot Noir fruit was chilled, de-stemmed and fermented in small wooden cuves made from of French Oak. Aged in barriques. This wine presents a soft, feminine poise, hints of leather, dark earth, porcini, high end raspberry and floral characters. The vineyards are named after the winemaker's wife; you can't say he hasn't done her proud!
