La Raia DOCG Gavi Pisé / Organic White Wines
La Raia - 2007/2008
Brilliantly biodynamic; it's a delightful fresh, lightly-honeyed fruited white
The wines from the this estate are amongst our most exciting discoveries in the last few years. After harvest the Cortese grapes are fermented before being aged on the lees. This process gives the wine extra depth of flavour and a nutty, bready edge that is really enjoyable. The palate is full of ripe, fresh fruits with honeyed notes. Very good indeed.
