Turbo-charged with elegance… a sort of liquid Aston Martin!
An arresting wine which takes your taste buds on a roller-coaster ride! Crammed full of blackberry, damson, pepper, chocolate and spice, there's no end to this wine's ability to please. Twelve months in new French oak enables you to revel in the smooth, velvety richness that this has imparted.

'The 2010 Grande Reserve Malbec spent 12 months in French oak and 12 months in bottle prior to release. It sports an inviting nose of wood smoke, exotic spices, and wild black berries leading to an easygoing, savory, incipiently complex wine that deftly conceals enough structure to evolve for another 2-3 years.' 90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Jay Miller 2011
91 points - Wine & Spirits Magazine (2011 vintage)
Frenchman Jean Bousquet travelled thousands of miles to find his 'optimum' vineyard location. In Mendoza, Argentina he found a site with, in his words 'idyllic wine-growing precipitation and temperatures, mild during the day and cool at night… situated at a good altitude (1,200 metres above sea level), with fresh air, few funguses, and very permeable sandy and rocky soils… these great attributes give the grapes the possibility to attain an optimum maturation without the risk of rotting and without having to use fungicides'. These perfect conditions combined with knowledge passed down through three winemaking generations makes for wines of exceptional quality.
We're still working on some ideas for our 'Goes Well With' combinations, these things take time, but we're having fun experimenting! If you've got suggestions of your own, or have particularly enjoyed a wine or other drink with a particular meal, or food combination then we would love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org
