DOCG Chianti Classico Buondonno / Organic Red Wines
Gabriel Buondonno - 2007/2008
Crunchy Chianti with the refreshing acidity that makes it so go with pasta
This is Buondonno's best-selling wine made from selected Sangiovese grapes, along with a small amount of Merlot and Canaiolo. It is aged in small and medium sized oak casks which are two to three years old, for about a year, during which time the wine becomes richer and more rounded. The colour is an intense ruby red, the fragrance has aromas of ripe red fruits with hints of spices and vanilla. The tannins are sweet and persistent.
