Battle of Bosworth Cabernet Sauvignon / Organic Red Wines
Powerful wine with a delicious creamy blackcurrant texture
Just like the Battle of Bosworth Shiraz, the wine gets a bit of a lift by having some vine-dried Cabernet Sauvignon added to the wine before bottling. It's a technique that adds to the expressiveness of these wines and gives them the fruit structure they need to carry the fermentation in both old and new, French and American oak. Blackcurrant and black plum are the fruit flavours that dominate this full-bodied wine but you'll also find more subtle cedar, spice and star anise notes too. Earthy in style, it's a wine that needs a robust casserole to eat alongside.
