Fabulously bright and mineral Burgundian Chardonnay

Made from grapes grown on vines with an average age of twenty-five, this well-crafted Chardonnay has spent time 'on the lees'. This means that it's been able to draw additional flavours out of the spare grape parts before they are removed. It might sound a bit strange but it gives extra flavour and complexity to the wine. Toasted hazelnuts and red apples dominate the palate and are kept fresh with well-balanced acidity. A good wine to partner Asian food.
