AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape Pierre André / Organic Red Wines
Jacqueline André - 2005/2006
Muscular, yet feminine. Complex yet approachable. Fantastic
Châteauneuf is nearly always a blend and in this case it comes from 78% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. The vines average 65 years in age and in some instances vines of over 100 years old continue to yield beautifully concentrated flavours. Amazing density of flavour, this wine has layers of complexity that will tantalise from start to finish.
