AOC Chablis Premier Cru Vau de Vey / Organic White Wines
Romain Bouchard - 2008
From Romain's best parcel of vines and vinified partly in oak and partly in stainless steel but always on its lees for over 12 months.
This is a wine with great 'terror' personality showing why Chardonnay's from this famous region and so sought after.
It has a nice tight and concentrated pallet at the moment, with overtones of butterscotch and minerality - and will continue to improve for up to the next 5-6 years
