Romain Bouchard is the son of the legendary Chablis winemaker Pascal Bouchard. In 2005 he took control of 2 parcels of vines, one in the Chablis 1er cru and one in the Chablis appellation, covering 3.83 hectares in total. With the strong conviction that 'great wines are made in the vineyard', he turned naturally to the idea of organic viticulture and so started along the path of 'conversion' to a full organic system.
